DISCRIMINATION COMPLAINT FORM

If you have a discrimination complaint, Legal Redress, Civil or Human Rights complaint that needs to be investigated, please click on the link below to download the NAACP Stockton Branch complaint form. 

The NAACP Stockton Branch is not a law firm, does not have a staff of attorneys and does not give legal advice. We will investigate your complaint and determine if we should refer you to the proper agency/authority/attorney to handle your complaint.  We do not take complaints over the phone or without the completed complaint form. We will only investigate or make referrals for complaints that are for violations within our purview  - civil and human rights violations or discriminatory in nature in keeping with our mission statement:

Mission Statement:

The NAACP’s principal objective is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority citizens of the United States and eliminate race prejudice. 

If you believe you have a discrimination claim, your must file a claim with the appropriate State or Federal agency in a timely manner.  Failure to do so may prevent you from pursing a claim in a court of law.  You should complete & mail our PDF form entitled: Legal Redress Complaint Form to NAACP Stockton Branch PO Box 907 Stockton, CA 95201.

I affirm that the statements I have made above are accurate and true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I hereby request the assistance of the NAACP in seeking remedy of the situation described above. I hereby authorize the officers and executive committee of the NAACP to have access to information and documents which are relevant to my claim of discrimination described above.

I understand that once a referral to a volunteer, community agency or private attorney has been made, the NAACP WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for handling this matter. In fact, I further understand that by signing this document, I am agreeing to HOLD THE NAACP harmless of any and all damages arising as a result of my case being mishandled, negligently handled or improperly handled in any way.

Completing this form does not constitute filing an official complaint with a legal authority. At this time the NAACP is only seeking information to assist you concerning this complaint.
